Young Ru born November 8th 1987 in the live music capitol of the world, Austin Texas. Young Ru grew up in an atmosphere surounded with musicians and all differet types of music. Being known as the live music capitol of the world the city took a big toll on Young Ru's dreams. " Where Im from the local music is so diverse that it influences everyone in the city whether they know it or not to the point to where music is more of a life style rather somethin you dance to in the club" -- Young Ru.
At the age of 16 Young Ru began writting and freestyling only as a hobby not knowing that the ink bled from the pin to the pad would gain quick establishment and success in the near future for Young Ru. Writting and creating clever conscious punch lines and veses came so natural to the "Texas lyracist" he than took his music to the next level and began recording day in and day out.
Searching for the perfrect oppertunity to make his dream a career Young Ru began networking and building with a well known artist out of Austin Tx named Berd, who was independently gaining respect through out the city and the state. Soon after that Young Ru joined Berd's group the "Texas Young Kingz" it only made since to combine the two in order to form the city's hope and began the road to success.
The TYK Click dynasty has carried on in the undergound music scene for years now and running, with projects such as "I BODY ROC MY SLAB", "WERE THE CASH AT?", and "TYK RADIO SHOW pt.1", as well as features on numerous mixtapes with dj's and artist throught out the country and overseas. Also, the click has made quite a name for themselves with hit singles like "Boby roc Tha Slab",and "Bitch Ima Star". Opening up for caountless major acts such as, Scarface, 8 ball and MJG, Paul Wall, Bone Thugz N Harmony, Lil Keke, and the list goes on. Now labled one of the most anticipated rap groups in texas, TYK continues to take the rap game by storm,with soon to come mixtape and album releases,while still proving themselves as artist and entertainers.
