Born on the island of Aruba on September 16, 1990, David Brown AKA Apollo is influenced by the multiple cultures of the island. As a child he received multiple flavors to his growing swagger such as the Latin flavor, because of the island positioning being so close the Latin country of Venezuela. He simultaneously established a Caribbean flavor because of Aruba’s location in the Caribbean. Establishing the last two flavors was not enough; he added a European vibe to him because of the fact that Aruba is a Dutch colony. Holland the mother land of Aruba influences the island to the point that even the schools teach with Dutch as the premier language. Finally he also added an American feel to his style because of the American market on Aruba and the fact of himself being an American.
This mix of flavors and a dash of wisdom is what create Apollo.
His music is made with a voice that understands all nationalities and races, but that only speaks for one nation, the nation of Hip Hop.
Apollo has established a group by the name of Home Of The Stars. He says that “the star is the image” and he will be the leader in the star movement which shows people how to take a dream and make it reality. Apollo is the type of star that you can’t hide, sooner or even sooner than sooner, the world will have to recognize the way he shines.
