Headline: Keep it Real
Carmon Hunter: Lead Vocals Born in Tucker Georgia, Carmon has always loved music, starting in her bedroom getting ready for school singing duets with her sister in hairbrushes, performing in front of mirrors. Singing has always been a major part of her life. As a teen she would perform in talent shows playing her guitar and singing her originals in front of anyone who would listen. All she ever wanted was to just feel the love that was offered by others. As an adult every club there was a band she just had to get up on stage and perform at least one song before the night was done. In doing so she met other artists and so began her search for the perfect band Carmon was a finalist in the 1999 Lilith Fair Talent search one out of thousands of entries. Now over 20 years fronting bands such as Bitchcraft, Raven Heart, Valor, Ripchord ,Kurser ,Splatter Pattern and She-Ruption. Carmon has opened up for Georgia Satellites. And has played venues such as JPRockers, Rusty Rooster, The Rivera, Masquerade, The Verity Play House, The Last Great Watering Hole, Sportsline Bar and grill, Sportstime Bar and grill and Six Flags over Georgia just to name a few. The eighties hair metal bands were a big influence on her becoming a singer. Carmon states Joan Jett, Dio, Janis Joplin ,Areosmith, Motley Crue ,Ratt and Poison as just some of her vocal influences and it shows in her creative approach and delivery on every song she sings. My Faith the music is not mine I have to say I just wrote most of the lyrics. Music is by Tom Mathes and JR Mounts. Two great musicians and great friends. "ICU" Was written by Carmon Hunter and perfomed by Valor with Carmon fronting the band. Check it out let her know your thoughts.
