Damice Johnson was born in 1984 and was raised by his mother in West St. Paul Minnesota. He credits her for her support and direction which resulted in an unquenchable thirst to rise in his career. Damice has remained focused through the hard times with that support from his mother and his faith in God. Even as a child his desire to shine was apparent in his optimistic attitude toward life. He spent his childhood on the court shooting hoops and with his mind centered on his education.
D Sota is now quickly emerging as the hottest Twin Cities rapper. He was voted TC Next Up at the annual TC Hip Hop Awards and has taken 1st place in multiple Hip Hop competitions. D Sota has opened for big acts such as Tech9ne Crime Mobb and Lil Flip. His Hood Grammar album subsequent to his debut album Struggle will be released mid-2008 with what will soon be a punch single Im Ballin. My Lady his first released single has been played on the Twin Cities largest hip-hop stations.
Damice has visions to sustain those around him with his triumphs.
