Get Ready for Jasmine Lauren! Born Jasmine Lauren Hutchinson from the Bronx, New York and raised in the home of the, dirty south genre", Atlanta, GA. This 19-year-old songbird has been singing since before she could pronounce words and formulate sentences. Her parents believe it was due to a radio playing near her crib since she was an infant, along with her family's deep-rooted musical history. Jasmine realized her talent and desire, and began to perform in school and talent shows across Atlanta. One of Jasmines dreams was to perform on the stage of the legendary Apollo in NYC. During her quest to accomplish this dream she entered the, Apollo Kids competition in Atlanta where she was chosen as a runner up, to a 5 year old girl who recited the famous poem by Maya Angelo " Still I Rise". A no win situation, but winning is not everything. Understanding this and the music business Jasmine decided she just loved to perform around others who also loved to entertain, and entered to other competitions, and showcases where she where she continued her success. Jasmine has also been invited to perform and sing at various venues in Atlanta and around the South where she has a strong supportive fan base. Jasmine's Professional career began when her father began working with her in his recording studio in Atlanta. Jasmine has an excellent work ethic; she works with a vocal coach in Atlanta at Jan Smiths Studio, writes music ,has a choreographer, studies the art of acting and loves to sing all day long. In addition to all of that Jasmine is also a strong student and athlete. Jasmine's bright personality, and beautiful vocal palette captivates her audiences, and she has been dubbed with the moniker."
