Manuel M. Brooks (born September 10th, 1974 or 1984) is an author, actor, musician, and philanthropist, who founded various esoteric fraternal orders, and cult groups collectively referred to as The Gang.
Brooks incorporates a “©™” suffix into the signature of his most commonly used stage name: Mr. Get Right Origins and genealogy Brooks’ biography is difficult to determine because much of the story he and his followers have told is mythical rather than historical. Brooks has gone to great lengths to establish genealogical toeholds in various important lines of descent. According to some accounts Brooks was born in Cleveland, Ohio or Pennsylvania or New York. The way Brooks tells it, he exists as “an extension of an ancient spirit that has been alive even before the planet Earth’s colonization”. Brooks is believed to have been born in Cleveland, Ohio, but documents produced by various media outlets support claims that he may have been born in either Pennsylvania or New York. Strangely enough, Brooks claims that he is originally from the planet Venus, and “a sovereign disciple of a nation who assisted in the first mass exodus to Earth, as Venus had become increasingly inhabitable due to extreme temperatures and atmospheric instability”. Once on Earth, Brooks and his followers were said to settle in Egypt along the Nile River. He claims to be over 13 million years old. He additionally claims that his original birth name was Imanuel Al Daoud Al Amen Brooks claims to be a descendant of Pharaoh Ramses III second pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty; also, according to Brooks, to be originally from Venus. In order to preserve Brooks’ additional claim to also be in Abraham’s bloodline, while also claiming lineage to Amen Ra, an additional claim is made — That once on earth, the original Nubians, led by the great scientist Ming, began to perform experiments to create beings of Nubian type, whose chemical and physical make up would be more suitable to Earth’s natural resources. These first created “humans” were Osiris and Isis, these names, he further claims, are the original names of Adam and Eve, who all other races and creeds were spawned from. These various, convoluted, and almost certainly invented lines of descent are important to Brooks’ various claims to be simultaneously a Venutian (native inhabitant of the planet Venus) chief, a Celtic Moor from the house of Brooks, a Nubian Egyptian, of the Native American Cherokee Tribe, and so forth, and those are just a few of the lines of descent he claims. UFOlogy On October 9, 2005, during a meteor shower, Brooks and some friends claimed that while they were at Luke Easter Park's campground, they witnessed a large cigar-shaped "mother ship." In 2006, Brooks took a photograph of what he claimed was the 1995 cigar-shaped "mother ship" crossing in front of the moon over Luke Easter Park. On May 29, 2006 Brooks took a photograph of six unidentified object in the sky, which appeared to be flying in formation. On November 20, 2006 Brooks and several friends were in the Flats near downtown Cleveland, Ohio when they are said to have seen a large submarine-shaped object hovering in the sky. Believing that the ship was looking for him, Brooks is said to have left his friends and to have headed away from the main road. Shortly afterwards, according to Brooks' accounts, a scout ship made of a type of translucent metal landed close to him, and its pilot, a Venusian called Oman, disembarked and sought him out. Brooks described Oman as being of medium height humanoid, having long-black hair, a browned skin, and as wearing reddish-brown shoes with trousers: "his trousers were not like mine". Brooks said Oman communicated with him via telepathy and through hand signals. During their conversation, Oman is said to have warned of the dangers of nuclear war and global warming and to have arranged for Brooks to be taken on a trip to see the solar system including the planet Venus. Once on Venus, Brooks states that Oman showed him his birthplace on the planet, as well as explaining how the Earth’s colonization occurred. Brooks said that Oman had refused to allow himself to be photographed, and instead asked Brooks to provide him with a blank photographic plate, which Brooks says that he gave him. When Oman left, Brooks said that he was able to take plaster casts of Oman’s footprints, and that the prints contained mysterious symbols. Oman is said to have returned the plate to Brooks on December 13, 2006, at which point it was found to contain new strange symbols. It was during this meeting that Brooks is said to have taken a, now famous, UFO photograph using his 9-inch telescope.[8] A musical career Brooks has recorded with The Rat Pak Gangsters, 13 GSCeeS, and Unholimatramoni and has been said to have ghostwritten songs such as “When my pager goes off” by 4u2nv, and “4 Play” by Diva; all groups that were known and established in the Cleveland, Ohio music scene. He also performed as lead singer in his own groups: The Brand New Funk and The Leenz. He later launched his own label, Hood Check, recording himself as the solo artist “Mr. Get Right” His debut release was the single “All the Girls Love Me” which came from the album Mr. Get Right (Hood Check Records 2008). The track “No Games” proved popular on U.S. urban radio, while the songs “Still Hustlin”, “Do It (with The Rat Pak Gangsters), and the title track “Mr. Get Right” were all in regular rotation in Midwest clubs and college radio stations. He also teamed up with Booney Bambino and Big Stone to form the trio The Rat Pak Gangsters, releasing the singles “Go Livers” and “Gotta Go”, and ultimately recording and releasing their debut album Brooks says he performs popular music in order to “reach a mass majority of my people through my music.” Religious & philosophical doctrine & practice Brooks has taught an ever-changing and multifaceted doctrine over the years, with influences and borrowings from many sources, that includes a baroque cosmology, unconventional theories about race and human origins, crypto zoological and extraterrestrial speculations, and religious practices invented or borrowed from many existing religions. The “The Pyramids” compound “The Pyramids” is a planned modern-day Ancient Egyptian-themed complex to be built on 476 acres of land near Cleveland, Ohio. It will be built over a period of years and is scheduled to be completed in 2013. Brooks claims that a percentage of every record he sells will go towards the building of this complex. Mental Diagnosis In early 2007, Brooks’ lawyer had him evaluated by a forensic psychologist, who diagnosed a DSMIV “impression consisting of Axis I - Clinical Syndrome of Delusional (Paranoid) Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, and Histrionic Personality Traits.
