Born October 21, 1989, I found out I had a knack for music at the age of 9 years old. With teen rappers around like Bow Wow and Lil' Romeo, they were definately inspirations at that time. Although I didn't do their type of music, I was writing what was going on in the streets around me. On Christmas my mother bought me a karaoke machine. I would rap other rappers' lyrics onto different beats to create my flow. The name Nerv-Us actually came from my parents. They would make me perform for people when they came over and I would always be shy about my music. They would call me nervous, so I embraced the name and stuck with it. When I gained my confidence I added the US at the end of it, which represents my family. At the age of 12 I began to write my own lyrics. I'm 18 years old now and from then I have been pursuing my music career ever since, so music is MY LIFE. What sets me apart from other artists is that I'm animated, and I can make HITS on simple programs such as Fruity Loops and Cool Edit Pro. I have so much fun making music, which is really prominent while listening to my songs. I can create so many mainstream projects without stepping foot into a studio. I have NEVER been in a real studio in my life, I couldn't even tell you what was in one besides microphones and mixers...all around I think I would be a GREAT investment for record companies. Aside from the entertainment I fully understand that this is a business first, and I am all about business. I AM HUNGRY!!!
