Yung Crisis Fresh was born in Lakeland, GA and moved to Minneapolis, MN when he was 9 with his mother. He attend Morris Brown College where he realized that music was more than a hooby it was his LIFE. He participated in a few talent shows and was apart of the MO.B Street Scholar Mixtape. But due to the accreditation situation at Morris Brown he was forced to transfer to Valdosta State University where he became apart of Phi Alpha Nu which started out as him and his friends just trying to make a name for theirselves on campus into his entertainment group. He then started participating in Freestyle Battles, Soul Poetry Fest, and Talents shows on the campus of Valdosta State University in which he was named artist area at the Valdosta State University NAACP talent show. With the buzz Yung Crisis created from showcasing his talents came a demand for him to cut a CD. He performed a few songs live on the air on V91 the school radio station with Dzulini on the URBlock with Big Twin, to see what people thought. The reviews where good. But after even more set backs Yung Crisis was forced to move back to Minnesota where he hooked with his cousins from TopLine Entertainment and began recording his first mixtape “From Da Bottom 2 Da Top” which includes the smash hit “Game Recognize Game” which is now on sale on Itunes. He has opened up for the likes of The Dream, Gorilla Zoe, Huey and Jibbs among performing at various open mics and local artist mixtape release parties. He is now currently in the studio working on his second project which is going to be called “PHI ALPHA NU: HAZING”. He is also featured in the september issud of the Midwest Leak Magazine as a top draft pick. He just got done shooting a video in Miami with Stro of Got Bread Records for the song "We Ballin" Stro ft. Yung Crisis. Video coming to Bet and MTV soon. On September 26TH he will be apart of the 2008 SOUTHERN SMOKE COLLEGE TOUR SHOW @THE VALDOSTA STATE SHOW. Be on the look for more to come from him 2009 cause it only gets better. STAY TUNED.
