Artmade was formed in the year 2000 and started as a band consisting of seven members. Artmade´s first production was a demo called Homemade. 11 tracks was recorded during a weekend in one of the guys home and then sold to friends and relatives. After this demo Artmade felt that it was time to make a bigger production and with the best songs from Homemade and two new tracks Artmade made their first appearance in the studio. The CD Let Life Amuse was recorded and with this CD Artmade began their work as a band – promoting their music and selling T-shirts.

2002-2003 Artmade produced Does a One Legged Duck Swim In Circles and Counting Sheep and 2004 Artmade went into the studio again, now with a new singer, Love Melander, and the band slimmed to 4 members. This time it resulted in the CD Complicated Candydates which was released in 1000 copies and sold in Kristianstad and on gigs in Sweden.

2006 it was time to release the first single – Here We Are – a dedication to Artmades faithful fans and limited to 100 copies, all signed by the bandmembers. This single also included a bonustrack never released before. Later that year the band produced and released We don´t make the rules, we just win and this was the biggest production for the band so far. A lot of time was spent in the studio and the band produced 25 tracks -13 of them released on the CD. This record has sold very well so far and is today distributed over the world by iTunes, Klicktrack, Divirta, eMusic among others.

The band is releasing a liveCD in October 2007 called Live at Modesto Garden and a new release is planned in the early 2008.
