All about K Jay”



On June 28, 1986, Kaylon J. Jones was born the third of four children, to the parents of Carolyn and Craig Jones. His parents knew that he had a special talent, but they did not know that he was a musical prodigy.
When he reached the age of eight, his little sister Falencia and he began singing karaoke. This was when he realized he had a musical talent. Too shy to reveal it to the public, he began secretly writing and singing music. At the age of fourteen Kaylon was determined to get over his shyness and share his talent with the open. His only problem was that he didn’t know how and where to began.
At the age of sixteen, he decided to give up on the music business and turn to the streets. After three years of being addicted to the street life, he realized that it was time to give up the game and do something positive with his life. That’s when he knew that it was time to give music another chance, but only this time he wouldn’t give up so easily. He knew that in order to make it where he wanted to be, he would have to make music his main priority.
Now Kaylon J. Jones better known as K Jay is back doing his music. Knowing that there will be countless obstacles that he may face, he is ready to take those head on one at a time to complete his life long dream.
